NBC to Air New Genealogy Show

Who Do You Think You Are? Some of you may recognize this question as the title of a popular British televison documentary series featuring genealogy and family history. Now, an Americanized version is coming soon on NBC.

"Who Do You Think You Are?" premieres Friday, March 5 (8-9 p.m. ET) and gives viewers an up-close and personal look inside the family history of some of today's most beloved and iconic celebrities. Among the celebrities to be featured are Matthew Broderick, Lisa Kudrow, Spike Lee, Sarah Jessica Parker, Susan Sarandon, Brooke Shields and Emmitt Smith.

  1. Lets not just do celb's. Regular people are interesting too! I have relatives that were Lt. governor of Pa. and a way back one that wrote the Declaration of Independence. This means he did the penmanship that you see on the paper. I think they called those people an engrosser.

  2. Gary, I absolutely agree. As I talk to people about genealogy, I tell them that EVERY family has important and interesting stories that need to be preserved and re-told!
