News & Announcements: State Historical Society of Missouri Hours and Services Cut Due to state budget woes, the Missouri State Historical Society will reduce its hours to 8am to 4:45pm Monday - Thursday, effective immediately. The facility will no longer be open to researchers on Friday or Saturday. Staff members have taken 20 percent pay cuts. The Missouri History Speakers Bureau will also be discontinued.
