Show off your favorite family ancestor photos at the 2010 Kansas Ancestor Fair on October 2nd in Topeka. Make a copy of each photo you would like to share (copies only - photos will NOT be returned), write on the back of each entry your name and the category in which the photo should be displayed, and mail to Topeka Genealogical Society, Attn: Ancestor Fair, PO Box 4048, Topeka, KS 66604 or bring to the Ancestor Fair by 11am on the day of the event. Copies should be no larger than 8 1/2 by 11.Photos will be grouped into the following categories:
- Babies & Children
- Family Groups
- Scary Ancestors
- Soldiers & Sailors
- Fancy Dress (including hats, etc)
- Beards & moustaches
- Miscellaneous
And, don't forget to plan to attend and browse all the entries!
