It's that time of year, for county fairs and lots of fun. And, this year, we will have a special opportunity for those interested in family history. In conjunction with the Kansas Historical Society, the Topeka & Shawnee County Public Library, and the Topeka LDS Family History Center , TGS is co-hosting the first Kansas Ancestor Fair. This fun-filled event will be free, with activities for all ages. More details will be forthcoming, but we are planning informational displays and handouts, "ask the experts" consultations, mini-sessions, an ancestor photo display, and childrens' activities. Mark your calendars now, and plan to join us in the fun!
