New Wildcard Search Features at Ancestry.com

Ancestry.com has added some new options to their wildcard search features, giving your even more possibilities of finding that elusive ancestor.

The search engine will now allow you to begin a name with a wildcard, although it does not allow wildcards at both the beginning and end of the name. There must still be at least three non-wildcard characters entered in the name field.

To see more detail, or learn more about how to make the most of wildcard searches, see the Ancestry.com blog.
