Roots Television, which had been scheduled to close on March 10th,  will continue.  According to Megan Smolenyek, the person behind the Roots Televison website, a flood of  e-mail and tweet messages  have persuaded her to keep the site going.  She will be soliciting advertising support to help cover costs, but will continue to host the site.
